Ben received his Bachelors degree in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois before earning his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Washington University in St. Louis. He holds a Strength and Conditioning Specialist Certification through the National Strength & Conditioning Association and is a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association. Alena was born and raised in the Flathead Valley. She was an 8 time varsity letter winner in Basketball, Volleyball and Track at Flathead High School. She went on to play collegiate Volleyball and Track at South Dakota School of Mines and Technology where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Pre-Professional Health Sciences with a minor in Occupational Safety. Sarah Schmautz, DPT

Sarah was born and raised in Kalispell, MT. She graduated from Flathead High School before attending the University of Montana. Sarah earned her undergraduate degree in Human Biology. Sara Ericksen, MS, PT

Sara is proud to have called the Flathead her home since 1999. She earned a Master of Science in physical therapy at TWU in Houston, Texas. Prior to that, she graduated with honors with a biology degree from Pacific Lutheran University. Her initial work was as an inpatient therapist as a part of the Rehab Medicine unit at the University of Washington. Prior to joining the OrthoRehab team she also worked at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago with focus on orthopedics, trauma, burns and cardiac. Rod was born in Evansville, IN and raised in Newburgh where he graduated from Castle High School in 1988. He attended Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green where he received a Bachelor of Arts in History and Anthropology in 1993. Charis was raised in Dillon, MT and graduated in 2006 from Beaverhead County High School. After graduating, Charis returned home with her husband Jeff and four-legged friend Bella, to work for Orthopedic Rehab in Dillon. Alena was born in Burley, Idaho and raised in Lima, MT. After graduating from Lima High School in 2010, she attended Brigham Young University-Idaho earning her Bachelor of Exercise Physiology and Associates of Physical Therapy Assisting.

CHRISTY RUSDAL PT

Christy has been a physical therapist for 16 years, starting as a staff PT at Community Hospital of Anaconda. She then moved to Helena, and spent 6 1/2 years doing outpatient orthopedics at Manger-Harrington Physical Therapy, then 18 months at St. Peter’s Hospital doing pediatrics. For the next 6 years, Christy had her own business in the Helena area, seeing pediatrics in the home and some orthopedics, but mostly, she was “Mom”. In November of 2013, her family relocated to Libby, and she began working at Orthopedic Rehab in September of 2014. Christy was also a certified athletic trainer from 1999-2012, and has been a certified strength and conditioning specialist since 2000.

Curtis graduated from Montana State University College of Technology in 2009. Prior to that, he worked in Fort Benton for 6 years and more recently was a traveling Physical Therapy Assistant throughout Montana and Wyoming along with his wife who is a Physical Therapist. Curtis enjoys 4-season outdoor recreation, is an avid sports fan, and cherishes every moment and experience shared with his wife. Curtis and his wife have one son and 2 granddaughters. They moved to Libby in January 2017 for the beauty and proximity of the mountains and small town atmosphere.
