Emily Smith, DPT
Emily was born and raised in Illinois, where she graduated from the University of Illinois with a bachelor's in Kinesiology. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. After graduating in 2009, she moved to Whitefish to practice for several years, and most recently has been working as a travel physical therapist throughout the country.
Emily became interested in physical therapy because of her fascination with human movement and its interaction with health and wellness. She loves helping her patients understand their bodies better so that they can feel empowered to keep doing the activities that matter to them. She has a wide range of experience and training across the entire rehabilitation spectrum. In her free time, she can be found climbing, biking, and hiking in the mountains with her husband.
