OrthoRehab’s Cody Marxer is Celebrating her Birthday!
Happiest of birthdays to Cody Marxer from our Dillon OrthoRehab clinic! As Physical Therapists, we see many a cowboy and we’ve been wanting to showcase the immense athletic ability of cowboys, as well as the injuries they face in such a dangerous line of work. We also would like to share the unique story about Cody’s Cowgirl skills that causes even the most seasoned, lifelong Cowboy to pause, take a moment, and acknowledge that it is a rare thing for Cody to have reached the pinnacle of Extreme Trail Riding & Horse Versatility Competitions. When she’s not behind her desk at OrthoRehab, Cody is usually up in her saddle, working weekends for a couple ranches in the Ruby Valley, gathering, sorting, doctoring and shipping cattle. After she left her “real-life” career of teaching anatomy and physiology, she went to work as a wrangler at a fancy dude ranch and guided hunting pack trips in the North Cascades. Cody says this was best time of her life! Then she went on to start colts for a professional cutter. She continued following her passion by going back to school for equine bodywork and started her own horse chiropractic & massage business in WA, where she is from. Cody even taught in the vet program at Colorado State University and traveling all over the west for horse bodywork. Cody married the love of her life Clayton and now resides on their ranch outside of Dillon where she raises her prized cattle and equine! Happy birthday dear Cody! We are very lucky you’re part of our OrthoRehab family!
