Jacqueline Weise, PTA
Jaci was born in Germany; her father was in the military and she traveled quite a lot throughout her life. She was very involved in running, competitive skiing, and swimming as well as mountain biking and Telemark skiing throughout her life. In 1997 she earned her bachelor's degree in Fisheries Management and Wildlife Biology. At that time, she started wildland firefighting throughout the west as well as doing wildlife surveys. She also started avalanche forecasting in the Wasatch/Cache mountains of Utah.
In the winter of 2016, she had both of her knees replaced and the physical therapists she worked with were great. She had always thought about going back to school as a physical therapist assistant and in 2019 she was accepted into the PTA program at FVCC. She graduated with her PTA degree in 2020 despite having to learn through COVID-19. She is currently working as an office coordinator and a PTA.
