Veteran’s Day Tribute – Mark Shreffler
We send our Veterans Day respect to Mark Shreffler, who sees Amy Fischer, MS PT in our Whitefish clinic. In 1970, after graduation from high school, Mark joined the Navy. After boot camp, Mark was designated a Machinist Mate and transferred to the USS Kitty Hawk. He made 3 tours to Vietnam. After his 4th year of service, he was transferred back to San Diego and returned to Chicago in 1974. During his time in the service, he was wounded and to this day is being treated following knee and back surgeries. Mark says that because of Amy’s caring physical therapy treatment following his surgeries, his legs and back have been strengthened to the point that he can now walk straight with his cane. Mark says this about his therapy, “OrthoRehab in my opinion, is the most professional Physical Therapy group that I have ever been involved with. I would recommend them to anyone needing support and help with physical issues.” Thank you for your service to our country Mark!
